Welcome Course
Sunday 27th Sept, 4th & 11th Oct 2026
What is Grace Church all about? What does it look like to get stuck in?
Our Welcome Course kicks off again on Sunday 27th September. If you have joined Grace Church recently or have not done our ‘Welcome Course’ yet, we’d love to encourage you to come along. The Welcome Course runs over three Sundays. We’ll enjoy food and fellowship together before hearing from one of our pastors about our core convictions at Grace Church and how these convictions shape our church’s life and vision. We’ll also hear interviews from members of our church family.
For our Canada Water Service: we’ll head off after the service and head to a member of the church family’s home for lunch. For Greenwich Service, this is the same, except we’ll head to our Hub.

Things I wish my sister knew

Will you endure until the end? After 7 months in the Book of Hebrews, what lessons have stayed with you? What continues to challenge you? What encouragement do you have to live for Jesus, today?
How will you endure to the end?
As we reflect on all that we saw in this deeply pastoral letter, the message rings loud, Jesus really is our great High Priest! He has gone before us. He is reeling us in. He wants us to keep going to the end. But life here on this earth is tough. If a life of singleness is God’s call, how will I endure to the end? If staying in this marriage, with all its brokenness and difficulties, is God’s call, how will I endure to the end? If childlessness is God’s call, how will I endure to the end?
God’s Holy Spirit wants us all to strive and enter that rest.
As the new academic year kicks off, join us for an evening reflecting on the lessons we learnt in Hebrews, with time to share the obstacles on our individual race, ask questions to a panel and hear the motivating cry of Hebrews 12 to just finish the race set out before us.
Join from 7.30pm for a bit of social time, and the programme will start from 8pm.
Autumn Weekend Away
16th – 18th October 2026
The sign ups for our next weekend away (16th – 18th October) are now open. Our speaker will be Dan Hong from Grace Church Greenwich, Connecticut on the book of Ruth. We’d love for everyone to be there. If you think cost may be a hindrance, please do be reaching out to the Fellowship Fund (link on the sign up form).
For the first time this year – children will be completely free (if staying overnight). Ashburnham kindly offered this to us as a trial to support more families to come along! (does not apply to day visitors)
The Bible says that God is good, but sometimes his kindness is hard to see. Through the book of Ruth, we’re going to meet a few people who experience grief and loss and pain. But through it all, we will see that God is kind even when we cannot see it, and even when life goes wrong, there’s kindness in the darkest moments.
Women’s Bible Reading Challenge
Saturday 19th September, 7:30pm @Hub
This year the women of Grace Church Greenwich are going to try reading the whole Bible at a slower pace, using the McCheyne Plan.
Join us at the launch this new Bible reading plan, on Saturday 19th September between 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the Hub. We will share some nibbles and drinks, learn tips on reading the whole Bible in such plan, and hear the different options for this new plan.

Going further – Christianity Explored Course
For anyone wishing to dive deeper into questions of life and faith and have an opportunity to discover what Christians call “the Gospel” – the core beliefs of the Christian faith, we offer this informal course on Tuesday or Wednesday nights.
In a small group, you will have the chance to read the Gospel of Mark, bring your questions, and discover what has changed the lives of so many people around the globe!
Tuesdays, 6.30pm, Canada Water Library – from 3rd November 2026
Wednesdays, 8pm, the Hub, 14 Feathers Place, SE10 9NE Greenwich – from 4th November 2026
